A bit of fun for everyone

I recently had the pleasure of doing a little commission for a friend needing some basic mead labels created for his home operation. I've had sketches of this project done for almost a year but friendly projects often get pushed to the side, especially when you're suffering from creative drain. With all the time I've had and the burst of creativity with it, I'm happy to say we finally wrapped it up and the labels are ready to go!

The critter in the logo is a sketch of their pet ferret, Ahri, juxtaposed with some crusty 8 point antlers (she's a girl, it's like Antelope huh?) For how long she was around at the time of drawing, as well as to add a bit of fantasy element to incorporate my good company's admiration for DnD. Fields have been left open to allow for easy note-taking and product descriptions which can vary wildly through simple ingredient changes.

I also had the absolute pleasure of shooting the product photos with the FujiFilm X-T3, WOW what a fantastic experience, everything about the camera screams top-notch quality, the meager 20 shot run didn't even feel close to enough time spent, and I can't wait to get my hands on one and finally make the switch from DSLR to mirrorless.
